Digital accessibility
Accessibility statement
AOO wants to provide a clear, usable experience to as many people as possible, regardless of technology, context or ability.
Our commitment
This website is designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA in mind. Accessibility is ongoing work: we review templates, content and journeys as the site evolves.
This statement was last reviewed on 21 October 2026.
Measures in place
The following choices form part of the website’s design and maintenance:
- Semantic structure with ordered headings, page landmarks and labelled form controls.
- Keyboard navigation, a skip-to-content link and visible focus indicators.
- Readable contrast, responsive text sizing and content that remains usable when zoomed.
- Responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Descriptive alternatives for meaningful images, with decorative media ignored where appropriate.
- Accessible form status messages and clear identification of required fields.
- Support for the system preference to reduce motion.
Conformance status
The website aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. It is subject to technical and editorial checks, but we do not claim that every page is free of difficulty in every browser and assistive-technology combination.
How we assess accessibility
Our reviews include keyboard-only navigation, heading order, form labels, colour contrast, zoom, responsive behaviour and text alternatives. Significant updates are checked before publication.
Known limitations
Some external content or services, including images delivered by a third-party provider, may be subject to technical limitations that we do not fully control. Content added manually in WordPress may also require editorial review to preserve heading structure and useful alternative text.
If a feature or piece of information is difficult to use, contact us and we will look for an accessible solution or alternative format.
Report an accessibility problem
Tell us which page you were using, what you tried to do, your browser or assistive technology where relevant, and what you expected to happen. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information.

Response and improvement
We acknowledge accessibility feedback within a reasonable period, assess its impact and include priority fixes in the website’s improvement cycle.
